Graduated from Punahou School, Wabash College (Crawfordsville, Indiana) with a major in economics and a concentration in Business (Cum Laude), and the Wharton Graduate Division, University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) with an MBA in Finance and a concentration in Marketing. Licensed with Hawaiian Island Homes, Ltd. since 1985, starting in residential sales, prior to promotion to sales manager, Broker-in-Charge, and General Sales Manager. Past work experience includes six years at Hawaiian Telephone Company in the Accounting Department and over two years at Hawaii Thrift & Loan (formerly First Hawaiian Creditcorp and now First Hawaiian Bank) as a management trainee and loan officer. My background in finance and marketing has helped tremendously in my real estate career. More important, though, has been my "people skills" and ability to work well with people in different situations. I enjoy working with both first-time buyers, as well as seasoned buyers and sellers of real estate. I am married with two children and understand the importance of balancing a career with family obligations, as well as my personal love of running, tennis, golf, and other outdoor sports.
